Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel is the pseudonym of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. She was a French modernist designer and she revolutionised women's clothing. Gabrielle Chanel was born in 1883. Her childhood was marked by poverty and uncertainty. When she was 12, her mother died and her father sent his three daughters, including Gabrielle, to a convent in Correze, At 18 years old she left the convent and moved to Moulins. In 1913, with a financial aid from a lover Arthur Capel, Chanel opened a boutique selling fashionable clothes in Beauville. In 1919, Chanel opened her first boutique, at the heart of the most fashionable area of Paris. In the post-war period, she left the need for a revolution in women's clothes. She liberated women from the bondage of the corset and encouraged a casual but elegant range of clothes. Chanel was an innovator in many aspects of fashion, She also developed a new kind of jewels.

My hero

I consider my hero my dad, He represents, for me, the perfect man. He works a lot, and for this we don't spend a lot of time together. My dad does a hard work, but despite this he never seems tired. For me he is the perfect man because gives a lot of love to my mother, to my brother and to me. I consider myself very similar to him and for this we get along.

Sutton Hoo

Sutton Hoo is an archaeological site dating from the Middle Ages and it is situated in England. The site hid a ship with the ashes of Redwald, who was a british king. He was the king most powerful on the south of the river Humber. His tomb represents the thing most important for the site of Sutton Hoo. The ship was long 27 meters and was covered by ground. Within the tomb there were treasures that were very important for the english archaeologists that knew few things of that period. They found an armor of metal covered with gold, precious gemstones, ceremonial helmet, a shield with a sword and other little things.

Instagram

Instagram started on 6th October 2010. The founders were Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. They were working to realize Burbn, when they decided to concentrate themselves on the share of images. They collected 500.000 dollars and so they opened the app that reached one million users in two months. Instagram was born as a platform dedicated to photographers lovers but in the years it changed because now users can personalize their post adding hastag and to find images like own and them there was also the possibility to add a short videos. The name "Instagram" is an union of the words "instant camera" and "telegram". On 2012 Mark Zuckeberg decided to buy Instagram for one billion dollars and to launch the app also on google play store.

Khan the doberman

Khan was a doberman and he was adopted by a new family just four days before the happened. Khan saved the daughter of this family that was 17 month old. Her name was Charlotte and Khan saved her from a deadly snake attack. Charlotte was playing in the garden of her family's home when Khan began to bark. A king brown snake, one of  the most poisonous in the world, was under the house. Khan tried to turn away the baby but she didn't move, so he picked her up by her diaper and he put her behind him. The movement startled the snake that grabbed Khan's paw.

MY PERSONAL HISTORY

HOME LIFE
My name's Caterina Miraglia, but my friends usually call me "Cate". I'm fourteen years old and I was born on April 8th 2001. In my family there are four people: my father Giovanni, my mother Paola, my little brother Luigi and me. My father is a bricklayer and I stay with him only in the evening. My mother is housewife and we spend a lot of time together. When I have got free time I sometimes help my mother in the house. I always quarrel with my brother, he is younger than me and so he teases me.

SCHOOL
Now I'm attending the "Liceo Linguistico Galileo Galilei" in Mondragone, and I'm at the first year. The school lessons start at 8;15 and I go to school by car. The lessons finish at 13:15 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and on Tuesday and Friday they finish at 14:15. It's a very old school and it's situated in the city centre.




INTERESTS 
When I go home I eat with my brother and after I do my homework. In my free time I usually stay with my friends, watch TV or TV series, but one of my resolution of this new year is going to the gym. I like also listening music, reading books and I sometimes cook cakes with my mother.

Cycle Ball

The Cycle Ball is a crazy discipline from German, that combines football, hockey and cycling. There are two people in two teams on the bike and the aim of the game is score goal with a ball on contended door.
